All it will do is "dial it down" if it's too hot. ![]() I will try to tweak some more settings too. I thought (very shortly) of putting the piezo behind the rubber pad (and in front of the metal backing plate) but I'm afraid I'll kill the piezo quickly that way, and it also has no space to resonate, sandwiched between the plate and the rubber pad. I'm not done yet, I will try different placement for the piezo. Playing with threshold and retrigger settings didn't work yet. ![]() I've tried mounting the piezo on the metal plate the other side of the rubber pad (ala reflection plate) but I guess the plate is just too thick and the pad absorbs too much because, even I have a pot between the piezo and the module, I have to max up the gain to register the smaller hits, but it results in a mess whenever I try a faster tempo. So far, I'm not getting the expected results.
